Rolling Optics is appointed as one of the 33 hottest young technology companies in Sweden. For the second consecutive year.

Among more than 200 nominees for the second consecutive year, Rolling Optics has been selected to be one of Sweden’s 33 hottest young technology companies by the scandinavian leading business and technology magazines Affärsvärlden and Ny Teknik.

We have had an incredible year. After proving that we can deliver both quality and quantity, customers have flocked to us. We have initiated many exciting client projects and partnerships that we will be able to talk more about later this year, and we are obviously proud of the nomination as one of Sweden’s 33 hottest young technology companies! says Fredrik Blomquist, CEO of Rolling Optics.

Now the challenge for us this year is to continue to be a “normal delivering company”, with an everyday business filled with supplies of 3D-labels in high million unity quantities.

NOMINATION

The crystal clear labels from the Rolling Optics fool our brains to see the depth and 3D. In addition, they are impossible to copy. This phenomenon is now attracting companies in the pharmaceutical, luxury and security printing industry. During the year, the sales spun off and turnover increased 17 times compared to the year before. Now the challenge is to prove that the company is an efficient profitable company that can supply quantities to many different customers.

Highlights during the year

Grazette of Sweden chose Rolling Optics 3D-labels for the relaunch of its XL series. During the first five weeks, sales had risen by 90 per cent over the same period last year. An eye-tracking study by Tobii showed that the consumer both got stuck with the sight on the 3D-products, as well as selected the products with the 3D-labels as the preferred ones.

Having made its much appreciated and acclaimed exam project Farvash Razavi, one of Konstfacks most promising design students, signed on with Rolling Optics as Design Manager.

Discussions with the pharmaceutical industry about their specific challenges led to a Rolling Optics 3D Security Seal product launch, a security label that brought much attention.

All industries are affected by counterfeiting and i.e. within pharmaceuticals, electronics and consumer goods the consequences can become fatal and risk your brand, customer and product safety.

With our new optical 3D-Security Seal you can eliminate the risk of packaging tampering and protect against counterfeiting.

Our optical 3D-material has extreme counterfeit resistance and is very easy to authenticate, both visually and on a forensic level.

The seal in optical 3D technology has two major advantages. The sharpness and depth of the seal makes it easy to recognize and virtually impossible to copy. When the seal has been opened, it breaks and becomes impossible to reseal. The contents can therefore neither be changed nor tampered with without it being visible to the consumer.

3D-Security features; 1st, 2nd, 3rd Level of Security combined, extremely clear and deep 3D-effects, visibility not depending on lighting conditions, no false positives with heat exposure, high humidity or hand application, color printability top or reverse
Customized design and technology according to your brand

In addition to the security features provided by the 3D technology and tamper proof design, It’s optional to add extra features to increase safety levels. One example is a two-dimensional bar code that includes information about where and when the product was manufactured.
