Suppliers of locally produced food often orders small quantities of packaging. To keep costs down, the packaging is often simple but functional, which sometimes can prove to be a disadvantage when competing with products from the major chains for customers’ attention.
-The labels will help to solve two major problems for suppliers today - one is obviously to capture consumers’ attention in the store, but the other perhaps even more important aspect is to guarantee the authenticity of the product. Today, counterfeit products has spread even to the food industry, says Fredrik Blomquist, CEO of Rolling Optics.
